Dan Jacobs Dan is a copywriter for ICDC College and blogger for ICDC Life. He has an M.A. in Communications, a B.A. in Media Arts and public relations/copywriting experience for sports, video games, consumer products and nonprofits. Dan can be reached at daniel.jacobs@icdccollege.edu.
Gil Contreras is the Director of Employer Relations for the ICDC College’s Homeland Security & Investigations (HSI) program. Gil is a former police officer who has taught for the past three years in the Homeland Security program, and was the Director of the HSI program at the Huntington Park Campus. Gil is a court-qualified Gang Expert for the Los Angeles County Superior Court, an award-winning journalist, and has over 20 years’ experience working in the criminal justice field.
Lisa L. McGloiry, J.D. is ICDC College’s Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations. Ms. McGloiry has over 22 years experience in marketing and media relations for various industries including education, financial services, consulting, non-profit, legal and publishing for both U.S. and International markets.
Viji Thulsiraj is part of the Education Department at ICDC College. Viji works closely with instructors to ensure that students receive the best learning experience possible. With almost 10 years’ experience working in higher education, Viji ensures that the ICDC College curricula fits both student’s needs as well as job trend demands. She also creates the Life Skills Workshops, which students use to enhance their personal and career-oriented aptitudes.
Laura is a writer for ICDC Life and other ICDC College publications. She has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications within organizations ranging from financial services to health care to higher education.
Christopher is a contributor to ICDC Life and an Advertising & Public Affairs Representative for ICDC College. He also serves as a military public affairs liaison and graphic designer. Christopher is an active member in the U.S. Army Reserve.
