Actor and Entertainer, Romeo Miller, a.k.a. “Romeo” will visit ICDC College’s four campuses on Friday, November 11, 2011 to meet with current students, faculty, and invited guests in support of a Back to School campaign that was launched in September. As part of the “Back to School Campaign”, Miller reminds young people about the value of pursuing a college degree and urges them to take command of their future.
Romeo Miller will kick off the whirlwind “all campus tour” starting at ICDC College’s main campus in Hollywood, California, and will visit the college’s subsequent campuses in Van Nuys, Huntington Park and South Bay during the remainder of the day. The day’s festivities will include music, food, and raffles with prizes, in which all of ICDC College’s guests can participate.
ICDC’s Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations said, “Romeo represents a successful young man who believes in the power of education and the need for more students to consider career training to expand their options especially in today’s struggling economy”. She adds, “Romeo is a celebrity who is not only college-educated, but remains active in local communities throughout all of Los Angeles.”
As part of the day’s celebration, ICDC College faculty, students and staff will also conduct a special celebration to honor our nation’s military service members and veterans in observance of Veterans Day. The program will include the participation of ICDC College’s Homeland Security instructors and students in a flag commemoration ceremony, and also include a special recognition of ICDC College veteran students and graduates. This is a free event that is open to the public.
